Le Flâneur: A Modern Day Hippie’s Guidebook to Wandering Around Paris

I have been dreaming about creating this book my whole life. I took 1500 photos and getting to put them together in a little book is a completely satisfying experience. I love nothing more and feel like I could spend the rest of my life just painting from those memories.

Le Flâneur: A Modern Day Hippie’s Guidebook to Wandering Around Paris

It all came together after I spent a day with the amazing Monte Dolack who challenged me to do a 100 paintings. And before I knew it after just a few short months, I had a 100 sketches and a few paintings complete. When I started to make them full size they were just too huge and time consuming but starting with a smaller size piece of paper turned out to be just what I had been dreaming about all my life.

I can still hear the bus driver. “Madame you must get off the bus” I almost missed this. IDK how he knew.
